All 3000 and 7000 series
ㆍSystem restore problem when sleep mode
: Disablility to restore after sleep mode on Windows Vista, MacPro and Macbook is solved.
ㆍDelayed detection (35~60 seconds) problem at RAID mode using Intel ICHxR chipset is solved.
ㆍChange response to “Disable Write Cache” ATA command
: (OK -> ABORT) It is because Mtron SSD does not support “Disable Write Cache”.
ㆍBack up the files in the SSD before firmware upgrade. Mtron Storage Technology is not responsible for any data loss.
ㆍSelect the correct firmware file for your specific SSD model. Any failures due to the negligence may cause serious damage to the product and Mtron Storage Technology does not take any responsibility.
ㆍDue to its internal structure change, firmware is not to be downgraded to the versions below 0.17. If you do not experience any technical problems, firmware upgrade is not necessary.
ㆍPower failure or intentional power plug off during firmware upgrade may cause serious defect on SSD.
ㆍWhen firmware update completed, power off the system and start the system again.
ㆍCheck your SSD model name/capacity and be cautious before you download. Firmware update guide
ㆍIf it is not the right one, it may affect adversely to the SSD.
example) For MSD-SATA-3025-032, download MSD-SATA-3025-032.zip file.
When you upzip the file, up.exe and mtron.mfi files will be created.
